This innovative District is dedicated to providing the finest education available to its diverse student body. Each school has an active Building Committee where teachers, parents, administrators, community members and students (where appropriate) work to improve the educational experience.

The District also offers a full range of art and music instruction, and through its participation in programs offered by SUNY Purchase and BOCES, it allows for further development in these areas. A range of occupation-related education programs are provided through its participation as a component district in BOCES - Southern Westchester. Many students from the Tarrytown Public Schools attend the finest colleges in the country
